Description
This is a warm, spirited collection of 12 well chosen gospel songs which features the playing and singing of Missouri's Vincent Family, where top voice of contemporary bluegrass Rhonda Vincent got her start. She is in superb form on 'Until Then,' the bouncy 'The Lord is Smiling on Me,' and the moving 'Deepening Snow.' Rhonda's dad contributes a down home 'Precious Jewel,' her mother Carolyn sings a quite pleasing 'Because of Him,' and her brothers take their turn on other vocals, much as you would expect from any typical show by this very entertaining family band. Another highlight is John Hartford's guest banjo work on a couple of tracks.
